Upon joining one of the UK's largest pensions funds, you will play a central role in brokering meaningful relationships with scheme members and other relevant agencies by providing support on various pension-related subjects, such as inductions, pension roadshows, individual pension consultations and pre-retirement workshops which are delivered through a variety of channels. This incredibly rewarding and varied role will see you offering different ways to engage and support scheme members, which include presentations, such as Introduction to the LGPS, LGPS & You, Pre-Retirement and At Risk. In addition, you will develop and be accountable for the content of material for the website, identify hard to reach groups and target such groups and you will also be responsible for the promotion of all events.
The successful candidate will attend employer offices and provide events to support the pension staff, so you will need to develop and implement innovative communication concepts to engage in a clear and integrated way. This could be one of the existing services or a specific bespoke presentation to deliver the facts regarding how any changes to members employment terms may impact on their benefits.
We are looking for someone who has significant communications and marketing knowledge gained through a similar role in a large pensions' organisation, excellent presentation and communications skills along with good DB pensions experience. Our client are committed to being an inclusive employer and are happy for this role to be based from home but the candidate needs to be based in the Midlands due to travelling to events 2-3 times a week. In addition to an excellent salary package, an attractive range of benefits is offered.
