Business Development Consultant - London/Manchester/Sheffield
Our client is seeking an BDC to join a small and expanding team of like-minded professionals working in the Employee Benefits arena. The opportunity enables the successful individual to develop business from small to medium businesses UK wide, meeting with decision makers and fact-finding all aspects of healthcare, protection, travel, dental, retail vouchers and pensions. This role will be geared towards EB expansion and we are seeking someone who understands the sales process, is keen to develop relationships, is a clear communicator and has a positive approach. The role incorporates marketing, tenders and contributing to the department by demonstrating creative ideas. The position is targeted, and key to your success will be building the prospect client pipeline, making sales calls, attending meetings, being proactive in looking at the strategic growth, as well as understanding populating all areas of service provision, whilst working professionally and ensuring compliance regulations are met. To be considered, you will be comfortable in attending pitches and delivering presentations as well as preparing proposals and building long term relationships, enabling successful business wins. We are seeking someone with a fresh approach who can adapt, ideally an experienced UK EB professional who has a proven track record in a B2B corporate environment, and can be visible at seminars and exhibitions. An understanding flex benefit platforms and digital solutions will be advantageous but not essential.
